Mumbai Indians (MI) will be taking on the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 20th match of IPL 2025 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Both teams have lost their last match respectively and will look to get back to winning ways.

Mumbai Indians are currently placed at number seven in the points table after playing four games. The five-time champions have lost three of those games, with their only win coming against KKR in their first home game at the Wankhede Stadium.

Meanwhile, RCB is also coming into the match after facing defeat against GT in their first game at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru. The Rajat Patidar-led side has won two out of three games, which includes back-to-back victories against KKR and CSK

This article provides the details of the playing 11 of the Mumbai Indians for their game against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru on April 07.

Mumbai Indians Playing 11 vs RCB- IPL 2025, Match 20:

Openers: Rohit Sharma, Ryan Rickelton (wk)

Mumbai Indians would hope for Rohit Sharma to be fit and available for the match against RCB on Monday after the former MI skipper missed the game against LSG after getting hit while batting in the nets.

Rickelton, on the other hand, would like to continue the form he gained against KKR and would hope to put on a strong show in the Mumbai vs Bengaluru clash to cement his position in the team. The South African batter is known for his power hitting in various leagues

Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Tilak Varma, Will Jacks, Suryakumar Yadav, Naman Dhir, Hardik Pandya (c), Mitchell Santner

Mumbai Indians lost the last match against LSG after being on track to register a comfortable win due to some indecisive batting from the middle order, even after an attacking half-century from the bat of vice-captain Suryakumar Yadav.

The likes of Tilak Verma, Hardik Pandya, and Will Jacks, all of whom haven't come to the party for MI in a pressure situation so far in the tournament, would like to make a significant contribution with the bat against RCB

Bowlers: Deepak Chahar, Trent Boult, Vignesh Puthur, Ashwani Kumar

Mumbai Indians unleashed a rookie in the first match against CSK in the form of Vignesh Puthur, who has done a fine job through his wrist-spin in the middle overs by picking up crucial wickets, but would like to get support from the other end as well from Mitchell Santner

As far as Mumbai's fast bowling is concerned, the Hardik Pandya-led side will once again depend on the duo of Trent Boult and Deepak Chahar to get breakthroughs for the team in the first six overs against RCB

The duo will be supported by Ashwani Kumar, who had a forgettable game against LSG and will be itching to bounce back strongly against LSG, along with Hardik Pandya, who picked up his maiden five-wicket haul in T20s in the same match
