Even though the IPL-2023 is still six months away, it is safe to say that Chandrakant Pandit’s appointment as the new head coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders will be one of the events that fans are most looking forward to. Pandit is known as a “national super coach” and has won multiple championships.

The former bowler, known for his no-nonsense and tough-as-nails style, has won the Ranji Trophy six times as a coach, but now he has a completely different challenge.

Accepting the new responsibility, Chandrakant Pandit stated, “It is a great honor and privilege to be granted this job.” I have heard from players and others affiliated with the Knight Riders about the family atmosphere and the successful tradition that has been established. I am delighted about the caliber of the support staff and players on the roster, and I am looking forward to this opportunity with humility and optimism.”
