Matthew Hayden has picked five bowlers in his playing XII with Yuzvendra Chahal and Varun Chakravarthy being the two spinners along with Sunil Narine being the third. The trio have been amongst the best spinners this season. Chahal has in fact managed to get back into the Indian team for the T20 World Cup with his performance this season.

Jasprit Bumrah, Avesh Khan, and Sandeep Sharma are Hayden's pacer in the 12-member side that he has picked for the season. The Indian pace spearhead has picked up 20 wickets, Avesh Khan 19 wickets and his fellow RR pacer has been the death overs specialist this season picking up 13 wickets in 11 games at an average of 23.92 and an economy of 8.18.
