"Ollie Robinson, Shoaib Bashir have..." - Ben Stokes' huge revelation about health issue in England camp

England skipper Ben Stokes provided a fitness update about his teammates Ollie Robinson and Shoaib Bashir. He revealed that both the players are dealing with stomach problems ahead of the fifth Test against India in Dharamsala.

The last match of the India vs England Test series is just a sleep away from now. The match will kickstart on Thursday (7th March) at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association in Dharamsala. The series stands at 3-1 in favour of India but the visitors would be adamant to win the last game.

England have played a decent brand of cricket in the ongoing Test series against India. They have challenged hosts quite a few times and even were in the winning positions in almost every game. But they have failed to cash on the opportunities which has led to their downfall in the series.

Shoaib Bashir has been one of the exciting players that have evolved for England in the ongoing series. Despite having a very less experience of playing FC cricket, he has bowled magnificently well in the ongoing series and has troubled India batters a lot with his variations.

Shoaib Bashir’s best came in the last at Ranchi. He claimed his maiden fifer in Test cricket and helped England get in the winning position. However, his efforts went in vain as India won the game on Day 4 and clinched the series by the margin of 3-1.

Ollie Robinson on the other hand, has played just one game in the series. He got an opportunity to play in the Ranchi Test but looked off colors and failed to make an impact. He didn’t take a single wicket in the first innings and then wasn’t given a chance to bowl in the second innings.

Both Ollie Robinson and Shaoib Bashir, however, are not 100% fit ahead of the fifth Test against India. Skipper Ben Stokes revealed about their stomach issues, saying that it’s a sensible thing to keep them away from the team. He, however, clarified that isn’t a serious issue. Speaking to reporters, he explained:

“Both Ollie Robinson and Shoaib Bashir have slightly upset stomachs. Keeping them away from the team is the sensible thing to do. It’s not a major issue.”

Ben Stokes & CO announce playing 11 for the Dharamsala Test

Ben Stokes-led England Cricket Team have announced their playing 11 for the final Test of the series against India. The Three Lions have made just one change to their lineup for the game in Dharamshala. Pacer Mark Wood has been included in the team for the match in place of Ollie Robinson.

The rest of the team is similar to what they fielded in Ranchi. The game will also be the 100th Test for Jonny Bairstow and he would be eager to make an impact and help his team win. Here’s the England playing 11 for the last game.
