The England fast bowler Tymal Mills believes that team England will be fully prepared for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021 because most of the World Cup-bound players are currently playing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 United Arab Emirates (UAE) leg.

Notably, out of 15 T20 World Cup-bound players, 8 England players are representing their franchises in the Indian Premier League 2021.

Talking about English players playing IPL 2021 ahead of the T20 World Cup in the same UAE venues Tymal Mills said it will be a huge advantage for the team and players.

One of our advantages is that we’ve got half the squad playing in the IPL at the moment,” Mills, who was recalled to the squad for the first time since February 2017, told reporters on Monday.

Meanwhile, further Tymal Mills stated that players will get much-needed information about the surface in UAE and they will be well prepared for the challenge in T20 World Cup 2021. He said:

I’m sure we’ll come out of that with a bunch of information and … we’ll be well-prepped and well-versed by the time we get together. I’m sure we’ll be full of confidence and back ourselves to beat any team.

Also, Mills feels that England national cricket team has got a pretty strong and adaptable squad and they have experienced campaigners in the lineup.

We’ve got a very strong, very adaptable squad and most of the guys have played a lot of cricket in that area, whether it’s IPL, Pakistan Super League or internationally.”

Team England is one of the favourites to win the T20 World Cup 2021 considering the strong squad and firepower in the team.

Meanwhile, in their opening encounter, England will lock horns with their biggest competition West Indies On October 23 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
