Stuart Broad believes England has a great opportunity of winning the series against Pakistan on Day 4 of the second Test in Multan. While acknowledging that the tourists would have preferred more runs, Broad predicted that they will win the battle with the new ball on the way.
England finished the third day on a high note, having lost their last five wickets for 19 runs, setting the hosts a 355-run mark. In the final seconds of the day, left-arm spinner Jack Leach dismissed Imam-ul-Haq for 60 to tip the scales significantly in favor of the visitors.

Imam and Saud Shakeel’s imposing 108-run stand for the fourth wicket allowed Pakistan to recover their innings and reach 198 for 4 at the time of the umpires.
At the conclusion of play, Shakeel was undefeated, while Imam had been caught by Joe Root off bowling from Jack Leach. In order to win the match, Pakistan needs 157 more runs, and England still needs six wickets to win the series.

“Pakistan has a chance but it is a lot of runs”: Stuart Broad
Stuart Broad told Sky Sports after the day’s play that Ben Stokes and company didn’t have a poor day and would seek to pull ahead after finishing Day 3 on a high.
Stuart Broad believes that Pakistan’s lengthy tail leaves the hosts vulnerable, stating: “I think Pakistan had a fantastic day, but I don’t think England had a horrible one.” They had a mediocre morning at the plate when they could have easily put the game away with another 50 or 60 runs.”
“But this is not a team that will look back with regret or sadness. It will be a case of ‘what can we do now to move in a positive direction?’ I still think England are enormous favorites on this ground and with the new ball just around the corner,”?? Stuart Broad Added.
“It is England’s game. Pakistan has three legitimate No 11s, so as a bowling group, you’d be talking about it, saying, ‘get one or two here and we’ll go right into them.’ England will be confident, and Pakistan will need to score the most of their runs before the new ball arrives. Pakistan has a chance, but it will require a lot of runs,” Stuart Broad told Sky Sports.
The visitors can take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series with a win over Pakistan at Multan.
