England will be touring Pakistan for a series comprising of 7 T20Is and three Test matches starting with the first T20I in Karachi. The first four T20Is will be played in Karachi while the final three in Lahore ending on October 2. Both sides then play a three-match test series between December 1-21 in Rawalpindi, Multan and Karachi respectively. This is England’s first trip to Pakistan since 2005.

Pakistan defeated England 2-0 in a Test series when they last played in the country in 2005. England’s last Test win against Pakistan in Pakistan was in 2000 under the leadership of former skipper Nasser Hussain. Officials from both ECB and PCB have welcomed the cricketing rivalry to resume between the two nations. The Men in Green last visited England in 2021.

Both sides have evolved since they last played in Pakistan in 2005 and have recently been playing entertaining and exciting cricket. I remain confident this series will live up to the expectations of the global cricket fans who want to watch and enjoy competitive and thrilling matches,” said Zakir Khan, PCB Director – International Cricket.
