Pakistan Cricket Team would be delighted as England is going to play Test Series after 2005-06. The Men in Green would be wary of the fact that this is Head Coach Brendon McCullum and Skipper Ben Stokes’ first assignment outside England.

Pakistan would be hoping that this tour goes well planned as earlier there were concerns due to the assassination attempt on the former PM Imran Khan. The Men in Green would be well aware of the fact that they need to bring out their ‘A’ game as England would be quite ruthless.

Brendon McCullum on Rehan Ahmed

Head Coach Brendon McCullum was having an interaction with Telegraph and was asked about Rehan Ahmed. “This morning he was downstairs, doing his skin fold test and I said ‘ah bugger that let’s go and have some breakfast instead.” said

“And anyway, I was sitting there at breakfast and I said, ‘What are you into outside of cricket?’ He said ‘cricket’ and I said, ‘What’s your passion? What are the things which really drive you? And he said ‘cricket’. What about school? And he said ‘well, I left school early because they just wanted to tell me what to do. And all I wanted to do was play cricket,” he added.

Great Chance for England

England would be roaring to make a mark in the Test Series. They know that they are out of World Test Championship Cycle 2021-23 and are aiming to build a strong team for the next cycle. Skipper Ben Stokes would be well aware of the fact that the batters need to stick to the crease before playing aggressive shots which is quite unlike to their approach.

The 18-year-old leg spinner if selected can be the trump card for England as he can also provide some handy runs for the team. It would be interesting to see whether he gets a game straight away as they already have Jack Leach present in the squad.
