Edgbaston hosts the PAK vs ENG second T20I on Saturday, May 25. The match starts at 7 pm IST which is 2.30 pm local time. The first T20I in Headingley was washed out due to rain.

The two teams now have three games left and the team who wins two of those games will win the series. This is the final series for both teams ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024.

Pakistan have already played two back-to-back series against New Zealand and Ireland. They drew 2-2 against New Zealand and won 2-1 against Ireland.

England players were busy playing in the IPL including their skipper Jos Buttler. All their players have rejoined the national team for this T20I series.

England have already named their T20 World Cup squad and this squad almost resembles that squad. The big news is the return of Jofra Archer in the squad. The squad boasts a good mix of all-rounders and specialist batters and bowlers.

PAK vs ENG Pitch Analysis

The venue has hosted 26 T20Is with teams batting first having won 17 games and teams chasing just nine. This gives a fair bit of idea about the track that it is a difficult chasing ground.

The best conditions to bat in this wicket is to bat first and put the chasing team under pressure. The average first innings score is just over 150 but we can expect a high-scoring contest if there is no rain interruption.
