PAK vs NZ: Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan Surprises Pakistan Cricket Fan With A Touching Gesture Before The New Year

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan delightfully delighted a fan, who was all happy after meeting two of Pakistan’s top batters.

The fan had a wide smile on his face as Babar sat by him on the hospital bed.

A young fan who is presently hospitalized had a special new year’s eve thanks to Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan and veteran wicket-keeper batsman Mohammed Rizwan. When Babar visited Pakistan’s biggest fan in the hospital, he compounded his joy by giving him the cap of the Pakistan cricket team.

The fan and Babar discussed Peshawar Zalmi, the side that Pakistan’s captain would lead this season in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). As part of a significant trade transaction, Babar was traded from Karachi Kings to the team prior to the 2023 season.

The young man also revealed to Babar that he follows Shaheen Afridi, Shadab Khan, and Mohammed Rizwan. Babar then prompted him by asking if he wanted to speak with Rizwan. The fan nodded, and Rizwan joined them on the Men in Green captain’s phone for a video call.

The supporter went on to say that he constantly prays for the team to win. He claimed that when Australia defeated Pakistan in the 2021 T20 World Cup semifinal in Dubai, wicket-keeper Matthew Wade snatched victory from the jaws of defeat for the ultimate champions, causing him to break down in tears. Babar exited the room and prayed for his survival and healing.

Babar Azam recently participated in the first Test match between Pakistan and New Zealand at Karachi’s National Stadium. After being replaced by Sarfaraz Ahmed, who returned to a Test after nearly four years, Rizwan did not participate in the game.
