Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is going through a massive revamp. Under PCB Chairman Najam Sethi, the fans can see young & exciting cricketers getting a chance. The left-arm speedster Mohammad Aamir was blatantly ignored by former PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja citing his past spot-fixing scandal way back in 2010-11.
The upcoming New Zealand ODI Series is considered to be quite pivotal as there are chances that Aamir may be back into the team. The pacer can be seen training at National High-Performance Centre. Aamir in his career has been a force to reckon with especially with the new ball as he bowls quite wicket to wicket.

PCB Chairman Najam Sethi on Mohammad Aamir
PCB Chairman Najam Sethi was having an interaction with Arab News and was asked about Mohammad Amir. “I will not stop Mohammad Amir if he wants to make himself available to play for Pakistan again. A player who has admitted his guilt, helped the ICC to stop match-fixing and corruption, and then paid a five-year penalty for being outside of cricket deserves to come back,” said Najam Sethi.
PCB Chairman Najam Sethi on Ramiz Raja
PCB Chairman Najam Sethi was quite furious with Ramiz Raja. “Mohammad Amir thinks he is not dealt fairly by the previous regime of PCB, including selection committee and chairman Ramiz Raja. Ramiz Raja thinks whoever has committed corruption in cricket should never be allowed to play for Pakistan again. This is not my view! I believe someone who has paid the penalty should be allowed to make a comeback for Pakistan,” said Najam Sethi
Sharjeel Khan is the other player who was a part of the corruption and it would be interesting to see whether he gets a game. According to some reports, there are chances that Wahab Riaz would be back in the team; where his omission was quite surprising in the last couple of years.
