The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the white-ball series schedule against the Zimbabwe National Cricket Team for November and December this year. The Pakistan National Cricket Team will travel to Zimbabwe for a limited-overs series comprising ODIs and T20I matches later this year.
The Babar Azam-led side failed to perform up to expectations in the T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and the United States of America (USA). The Men in Green were knocked out in the group stage of the ICC event. Notably, they suffered a loss against the United States of America in their first match.
Zimbabwe Cricket Unveils Limited-Overs Series Schedule Against Pakistan
Pakistan cricket team will travel to Zimbabwe later this year for a limited-overs series featuring three T20 internationals and three one-day internationals, as confirmed by Zimbabwe Cricket. All matches will take place at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, marking it as the sole venue for the entire tour.
Pakistan's tour of Zimbabwe will begin with the ODI series, with matches scheduled for November 24, 26, and 28. The T20I series is set to be played on December 1, 3, and 5. This series is seen as vital preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, scheduled for February and March in Pakistan next year.
The Zimbabwe tour will provide valuable exposure to diverse playing conditions and a competitive environment for the Pakistan team in their preparation for the Champions Trophy. It is anticipated to offer thrilling cricket for fans as both teams prepare for future challenges on the international stage.
The Pakistan team's previous tour of Zimbabwe occurred during the 2020-21 season. The Men in Green won the T20I series with a margin of 2-1. The subcontinent nation secured a convincing 2-0 victory in the Test series.

PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that the upcoming series are crucial for Pakistan's international cricket strategy, aiming to bolster the country's standing and ensure long-term sustainability in the sport.

We deeply value the participation of these teams and players, who will bring immense talent and competitive spirit to our fields," Mohsin Naqvi said.
Pakistan will commence their 2024-25 home international season with a series against Bangladesh, featuring two Tests scheduled in Rawalpindi from August 21-25 and Karachi from August 30 to September 3. The upcoming series will mark Bangladesh's return to Test cricket in Pakistan since February 2020.
