Pat Cummins had arrived in India to support them through the early phases of the tournament, where he stayed alongside the squad to back them through one of the toughest phases of the competition. He flew back to Australia after the start of the tournament.

Can Liam Livingstone or Kamindu Mendis add to SRH's depth?

The Sunrisers Hyderabad side did not look its very best, as they have not used all their overseas players to the best of their ability. Liam Livingstone, the English all-rounder, was bought for a whopping price by the Sunrisers after he was ignored in the initial rounds of the auction.

The leg-spin bowling all-rounder has spun the web around players in the IPL on former occasions, and he can be an addition to the spin bowling unit. On the other hand, he can add to the batting firepower of the side, as he has played in only one game so far in the season.

Sunrisers registered their second win under Ishan Kishan's captaincy

Having won their second match against the Kolkata Knight Riders, after making a losing start to the season with a defeat against the former IPL champions RCB, the Ishan Kishan-led side has been dominating with the bat.

Ishan Kishan is the second-highest scorer in the competition and has amassed 213 runs, while Heinrich Klaasen tops the list with 224 runs, averaging 44.80. Ishan scored a stunning half-century, and the bowlers ran a rampage. SRH were defeated in the game by a margin of 57 runs.

They have now advanced to the fourth spot on the points table, and have won just two matches, ending up with just 4 points. Their net run rate has been promising despite the team losing their initial matches.
