PSL 2025 Schedule, Start Date Announced; Direct Clash With IPL Begins

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule for the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2025). The season will start on Friday, April 11, with the opening match between defending champions Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
A total of 34 matches will be played in the six-team tournament from April 11 to May 18. Lahore will host 13 matches, including the two Eliminators and the final. Rawalpindi will host 11 games, including Qualifier 1. Notably, Karachi and Multan will each host five matches in the upcoming tournament.
Peshawar to Host Exciting PSL Exhibition Match on April 8
As per a schedule released by PCB, three double-headers will take place, with two matches scheduled on Saturdays and one on Labour Day. The final is set to be played on May 18. Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars, and Quetta Gladiators are the most successful teams, each having won the title twice.
An exhibition match will be played in Peshawar on April 8, with the PCB set to announce the teams later. Karachi Kings will start their PSL 2025 campaign on April 12 at home against Multan Sultans. Multan Cricket Stadium will host its first match on April 22, featuring Multan Sultans vs. Lahore Qalandars.
The newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium will host its first match on April 24. Peshawar Zalmi will play five matches in Rawalpindi, while Quetta Gladiators will play five games at Gaddafi Stadium.
