The ongoing Pakistan Super League 2025 (PSL 2025) is facing the heat of the tension between India and Pakistan that escalated following the devastating Pahalgam terrorist attack, which claimed the lives of at least 28 innocent tourists.
The tragic incident has further strained the already fragile diplomatic ties between the two countries, pushing relations to one of their lowest points in recent times. After FanCode suspended the livestream of PSL 2025 matches in India, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to make big changes.

It is being said that the PCB is all set to reschedule the PSL 2025 schedule with adjustments made to accommodate broadcaster preferences. As reported by a Samaa TV journalist, two matches’ dates have been changed, but the venues remain the same.

The day match between Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings, originally scheduled for May 1 at Multan Stadium, will now take place on May 6 at the Multan Cricket Stadium. Similarly, the scheduled day match between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators on May 10 will not be a day affair.
Instead, Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators will face each other on the evening of May 11 at the same venue—Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board and Pakistan Super League have not yet made any official announcement regarding the changes.

PCB sends 23 Indian nationals back home amid rising India-Pakistan tensions
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board has, on Sunday, April 27, sent the 23 Indian nationals who were working in Pakistan for the PSL 2025 production and broadcast team.
After tensions rose between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack, the Pakistani government asked all Indian nationals to leave the country by April 30.
A PCB official confirmed that the 23 Indian cameramen and technicians, who were hired by the company managing PSL production, have now been sent back to India safely. The official stated, “The Indian nationals all returned home via the Wagah border from Lahore.”

However, the company has brought in foreign and local workers to replace the Indian staff to make sure the quality of the Pakistan Super League broadcasts isn’t affected.
Dream11 removes PSL 2025 contests from platform
After the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, Dream11, India’s leading fantasy sports platform, has quietly removed all Pakistan Super League 2025 matches from its contest list. Earlier, FanCode had already taken down all PSL-related information from its website and app.
Now, Dream11 has done the same. As of April 24, users can no longer find any PSL 2025 matches or contests on the Dream11 platform. A quick search on their app or website shows no upcoming or live PSL games, highlighting India’s strong and united sporting response to Pakistan.
In a strong response to Pakistan for supporting terrorism, the Indian government has suspended the Indus Waters Treaty of 1960, shut down the Attari border, and ordered all Pakistani nationals to leave India within a week. SAARC visa privileges have also been revoked, and now the impact is also seen in the sports world too.
