Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 62nd match of IPL 2025. This article provides details about the Rajasthan Royals' Playing 11 vs CSK for match 62 of IPL 2025.
Rajasthan Royals Playing 11 vs CSK- IPL 2025, Match 62:
Openers: Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Yashasvi Jaiswal
Yashasvi Jaiswal will open the innings with Vaibhav Suryavanshi for the Rajasthan Royals in the upcoming match against the five-time champions CSK in Delhi.
Jaiswal will look to continue the form that the left-hander has shown in the 18th edition of the league, with fifties in the last few games, and guide his team to an important win.
Suryavanshi, on the other hand, broke on the scene wth the fastest hundred by an Indian batter in the IPL but hasn't been able to replicate that form in the games gone by.
The 14-year-old will look to make a strong comeback courtesy of a match-winning knock at the Arun Jaitly Stadium on Tuesday.
Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Sanju Samson (c/wk), Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Shimron Hetmyer, Shubham Dubey, Wanindu Hasaranga
RR will be elated by the availability of Sanju Samson, who has recovered from the injury he picked up earlier in the tournament, and would want him to lead from the front.
Having said that, Sanju Samson would hope for middle-order batters like Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel to take the responsibility of helping the team post a match-winning total.
Riyan Parag, who has captained the Rajasthan Royals in the last few matches, was able to finish the game against GT and guide the team to an important win.
The right-hander then played a valiant hand and almost took the team to an unlikely win against KKR, only to get out when RR was in touching distance of a memorable win.
Dhruv Jurel is expected to follow Pararg in the batting order and will hope to break the string of low scores.
Bowlers: Fazalha Farooqi, Kwena Maphaka, Tushar Deshpande, Akash Madhwal
Rajasthan Royals had to rejig their bowling attack in the previous match against PBKS with the absence of Jofra Archer, Sandeep Sharma, and Maheesh Theekshana.
Jofra's unavailability came to haunt RR as he had been bowling with pace and control but lacked support from the other end, which was evident in the game against RCB.
Along with Jofra Sandeep Sharma, who has also been ruled out after picking up an injury, he was replaced in the last game in Jaipur.
Nanadre Burger, who was signed as a replacement for Sandeep Sharma, wasn't able to join the team in RR's home match against PBKS but will be expected to link up with the squad in the days to come.
The responsibility will once again be on Wanindu Hasaranga, who will look to get things right again against CSK, especially with the uncertainty over Maheesh Theekshana's inclusion.
