Ravi Bishnoi's next IPL team leaked by Yuzvendra Chahal on Instagram LIVE

All the Indian Premier League (IPL) teams have released their retention list for the 2026 season recently. The remaining spots will be filled at the IPL 2026 mini-auction, which is set to be held in Abu Dhabi on December 16. Ravi Bishnoi was among the players released before the auction.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) unexpectedly released the Indian leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi ahead of the IPL 2026 auction. Bishnoi, who has taken more than 72 IPL wickets, has been one of the most promising young spinners in the tournament.

Meanwhile, a light-hearted Instagram Live session between Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravi Bishnoi has suddenly created a huge buzz. During their fun chat, Chahal teased Bishnoi by jokingly saying that he might end up playing for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the next IPL season.

Chahal said during Arshdeep Singh’s Instagram Live session, “Bishnoi, mujhe feeling aa rhi hai tu Rajasthan jayega IPL mai.”

Bishnoi played along, as he laughed, and he wouldn’t go against Chahal’s instincts, adding more fuel to the speculation. He said, “To bs apki feeling k against thodi na jayenge.”

Chahal then teased Ravi, saying that if he doesn’t listen, he might end up playing only domestic cricket, like him, as he took a light-hearted dig at himself. Sending a loud and clear message to the Indian selectors, Chahal told Bishnoi, “Ja bhai, vrna meri tarah domestic hi khelta rh jayega.”

The playful exchange has now sparked big discussions online, with many wondering if Bishnoi is actually joining the Royals. With the IPL 2026 mini-auction around the corner and Bishnoi already one of the hottest names on the market, this friendly banter has only amplified the speculations.

Yuzvendra Chahal keeps grinding in domestic cricket

Notably, the Indian leg-spinner is currently part of the Punjab Kings (PBKS), and previously, he was part of the Rajasthan Royals (RR). He had a remarkable stint with the RR, yet he didn’t receive an India recall. He last played for India earlier this year against England.

Even Chahal’s last season with the PBKS was impressive, taking 16 wickets and helping the side to reach the finals. Still, the leg-spinner has been continuously ignored, but he has not yet given up.

The Haryana bowler has been working hard in domestic cricket and playing whenever he gets the chance. He is currently playing for Haryana in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025.
