Ravichandran Ashwin And Nathan Lyon Share Bromance On Twitter During AUS vs PAK Test
Indian and Australian off-spin greats Ravichandran Ashwin and Nathan Lyon shared a light moment on Twitter a day ahead of the 1st AUS vs PAK Test. The rivalry between India and Australia has gotten even stronger after the finals of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. However, two of the players managed to find camaraderie between themselves. The two players are the ace spinners for their respective sides, especially in the game’s longest format.
Australian veteran spinner Nathan Lyon was all praise for his Indian counterpart Ravichandran Ashwin and did not hesitate while calling him one of his ‘biggest coaches’ in the sport. Lyon said, “I’ve learned from him. There’s an opportunity to learn from the people you play against, and without knowing it he’s probably been one of my biggest coaches in a way.”
Nathan Lyon tweeted on his ‘X’ handle that he feels that the two of them have a couple of years left and the competition to choose a place to catch up is strong. Lyon’s tweet was, “I’m sure the competition to pick the best venue for this catch-up will be strong, but we both have a few good years left in us yet.”

Ravichandran Ashwin cheekily replied to his post suggesting a home-and-away catch-up. He said, “We can do a home and away for the catch-up too.” Ashwin suggested that if they were to catch up in India they would go to a local shop to have some soup and chaat while he left the choice up to Lyon during their meet in Sydney.
