Former Australian legend Michael Bevan has weighed in on Ravindra Jadeja’s inclusion in team India. Notably, Ravindra Jadeja was concussed in the first T20I against Australia.

Yuzvendra Chahal became India’s first concussion substitute in T20 cricket. A hamstring injury ruled out Ravindra Jadeja from the T20I series. He was also excluded from the first Test match following his injury

Michael Bevan Speaks On Ravindra Jadeja’s Inclusion In The 2nd Test

Michael Bevan, in an exclusive chat with CricketAddictor, said, “Jadeja is a great player, he’s pretty dynamic and experienced and he can definitely lend value both, batting down the order and if the wicket is turning a little bit. So, I guess that’s something that team India will consider for the next match.”

“How that affects the balance could be an issue for the Indian team management but he (Jadeja) does have some pedigree and he’s a dynamic player, capable of being a match-winner,” Michael Bevan added.

Team India Saw A Batting Collapse In The First Test

The Indian Team saw one of their worst batting performances on Saturday. The Men in Blue won the toss and elected to bat first on Day 1. The Men in Blue posted a decent total of 233 runs in the first innings. Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper, scored another scintillating half-century.

The Indian bowlers cruised on Day 2 of the Adelaide Test. They dismissed the Aussies for just 191 runs. Moreover, India then came to bat in the 3rd innings and saw a historic debacle. They registered their lowest-ever Test total as they were restricted to 36/9. The Aussies cruised to the target. The Kangaroos won the game by 8 wickets. Australian opener, Joe Burns smashed a half-century in the second innings.
