Indian Cricket Team is all set to tour Bangladesh in December for 3 ODIs and 2 Tests. This tour is extremely vital for India as the Men in Blue will have to make sure that they not only win Test Matches but win with a huge margin as they are currently placed at the No.4 position with a 52.08 percentile

Bangladesh would be aiming to spoil the party of India as they are already out of the race of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC 2021-23). The Bangladeshi Tigers would rely a lot on the spin to deceive the Indian batters as  Bangladesh has got quality spinners.

Ravindra Jadeja Out of Bangladesh Tour

The flamboyant all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja is assumed to miss the Bangladesh tour with an injury. The Cricketer had suffered a freak injury in Asia Cup 2022 due to which in the middle of the tournament he was sent home. Due to the injury, the left-handed batter also missed the marquee ICC T20 World Cup 2022.

Ravindra Jadeja is someone who can contribute to all the 3 facets of the game. The 33-year-old all-rounder is a vital cog in the Indian setup as he knows how to change the dynamics of the match that too pretty quickly. It would be interesting to see who replaces him against Bangladesh.

Conundrum for BCCI

With the selection panel sacked, it would be quite difficult for BCCI to name a replacement, It is assumed that Chetan Sharma led selection panel is doing the work. The Bangladesh Test Series is set to commence from 14 December as there is a fair amount of time for that.

Head Coach Rahul Dravid & skipper Rohit Sharma would be disturbed as finding a player of Jadeja’s caliber is quite difficult. There is a chance that Axar Patel may feature against Bangladesh as the spinner has shown immense control over his line and length. BCCI will have to be careful here as there is a high voltage series lined up in February in the form of Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 as they would want Ravindra Jadeja fit for it.
