Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have reportedly secured a new sponsorship deal with London-based tech company Nothing for the upcoming IPL season. The partnership comes after Qatar Airways exited as the Bengaluru-based team’s jersey sponsor, and Nothing will take over the slot on the team’s kit.
Qatar Airways became the Bengaluru team’s official jersey sponsor ahead of the IPL 2023 season. The partnership was revealed during the RCB Unbox event before the start of the tournament. Under the three-year agreement, the airline’s branding featured prominently on the front of the team’s match jerseys.
Qatar Airways Ends RCB Jersey Partnership; “Nothing” Takes Over Sponsorship Slot
Times of India journalist K. Shriniwas Rao confirmed that Qatar Airways has ended its association as Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s jersey sponsor. He shared that the franchise has brought in a new partner, “Nothing,” to take over the sponsorship slot.
"Qatar Airways has moved out of #RCB. They're no longer the jersey sponsors. The franchise has now signed "Nothing" as replacement," he wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Shriniwas Rao further noted that RCB’s new sponsor, “Nothing,” is reportedly offering a slightly higher amount than Qatar Airways. Rao also mentioned Birla Estates moving away Gujarat Titans (GT).
""Nothing" is in fact paying little more than Qatar Airways. Given the turmoil in Bangalore, this should mean something. Actually, to be fair to #RCB, this deal at least ensures RCB hasn't lost everything -- despite Birla Estates (right chest logo) also walking away (to GT)," Shriniwas added.

RCB Likely to Release Livingstone, Rasikh Salam, and Yash Dayal
Royal Challengers Bengaluru are expected to make several changes to their squad ahead of the November 15 deadline, with Liam Livingstone, Rasikh Salam Dar, and Yash Dayal among the players likely to be released.

Liam Livingstone, who was signed for ₹8.75 crore, had an underwhelming campaign. The English all-rounder scored only 112 runs and took 2 wickets in 10 matches, failing to deliver the impact RCB had hoped for.
Rasikh Salam Dar, bought for ₹6 crore, played just two games and claimed two wickets, spending most of the season on the bench.
Yash Dayal’s off-field controversies have created uncertainty around his future with the franchise. Meanwhile, RCB are expected to retain their key pace duo of Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who together picked up 39 wickets last season.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru to Enter IPL 2026 as Defending Champions
Royal Challengers Bengaluru will enter the IPL 2026 as defending champions. They ended their 18-year title drought under Rajat Patidar’s leadership by defeating Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 2025 final at Ahmedabad.
The franchise is now focused on building on that success with a more balanced and well-rounded squad. RCB have ₹75 lakh remaining in their purse, but releasing players could increase their available funds to over ₹20 crore.
The official retention list has not yet been announced. RCB’s management has undertaken detailed planning to strengthen all departments. With the November 15 retention deadline approaching, all eyes are on RCB’s next moves as they gear up to defend their title in IPL 2026.
