Virat Kohli brings energy to IPL: Ravi Shastri

While speaking to Ravichandran Ashwin in the YouTube show 'Kutti Stories with Ash', Ravi Shastri hailed Virat Kohli. He said Kohli might have not won any IPL title but he brings a lot of energy to the tournament.

"Dhoni, Rohit very similar. Calm, collected. You know masters in what they do and very very successful. Both of them have won five times. Virat on the other hand, he might not have won the IPL but what he brings in is again different. You know there is energy. You know he is in your face", he said.

"You know the quality of batsmanship in one of two of those IPLs 2016 outstanding. So you know people don't forget that. Plus in that team, there was de Villiers, there was Chris Gayle. So suddenly the following for that team again went up", Ravi Shastri further said.

"And when you look at Mumbai and Chennai, they have always had players where that have been very experienced and they have been very experienced. So then the following becomes very high", he concluded.
