Chennai Super Kings spinner Maheesh Theekshana has been accused of chucking during the ongoing game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Playing just his fifth game of the ongoing IPL 2024, Maheesh Theekshana made a big impact with the ball. While he could not pick any wicket in the game, he conceded only 25 runs in his four overs. After RCB raced away to 31 after just 3 overs, he came up with a brilliant fourth over, conceding only four runs.

He also bowled the final over of the powerplay and did a brilliant job again as he gave away just 5 runs. He conceded 10 runs in his third but bounced back in style by giving away just six runs in his final over. But more than his performance, the Sri Lanka star is grabbing the attention for his bowling action against RCB.

The right-arm spinner came up with a different bowling action in order to outfox the batters. The fans have compared his new action with the bowling action of Kolkata Knight Riders star Sunil Narine who had to change his bowling action after being reported by the umpires.

Maheesh Theekshana was indeed seen changing his releasing point before delivering the ball on a number of occasions. And while the umpires or the RCB batters did not complain about the action, the fans were quick to slam the spinner for the same. several fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to accuse the spinner of chucking.
