Even though Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are yet to bat, Virat Kohli made sure that he made a huge impact in the game against Gujarat Titans (GT) in the field. The 52nd game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is taking place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Asked to bat first, Gujarat Titans have come under immense pressure. They lost early wickets and have looked clueless against the bowling lineup of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Shahrukh Khan, who scored a valiant fifty in the reverse fixture, looked good to eyes yet again.
Shahrukh Khan, who came to bat at No.4, made sure that he led the recovery charge for his team. The hard-hitting batter played some crips shots in his innings and along with David Miller (30) brought his team back in the game at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru after losing three quick wickets.
Shahrukh Khan tried to counter-attack and made sure that he got some quick runs for his team. He was looking all set for a big knock but his stay at the crease was cut short by the brilliance of Virat Kohli in the field at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
During the 4th ball of the 13th over, Vijaykumar Vyshak bowled a delivery to which Rahul Tewatia played with soft hands towards the off-side. Shahrukh Khan at the other end seized in an opportunity to take the quick single at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
However, Rahul Tewatia wasn't keen to take it and sent Shahrukh Khan back. Virat Kohli then oozed his class in the field and effected the direct hit at the bowler's end. The batter was well short of the crease and walked off disappointed.
What caught many's attention was Virat Kohli's send-off after he removed Shahrukh Khan. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru gave him a flying-kiss send-off and it made the crowd go berserk at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
