RCB Women takes on Gujarat Giants in match 5 of WPL 2024. The match starts at 7.30 pm in Bengaluru. Bengaluru will host the first 11 games after which the tournament moves to Delhi with the second half.

Royal Challengers Bangalore women are led by Smriti Mandhana. She won her first game as captain this season but her bat is still producing lower scores. She scored just 13 in the match against UP Warriorz. Starting from the first season, her form has been a concern for the franchise.

Bowling-wise, the RCB bowlers delivered the good led by Asha Shobana, She took 5/22 and played a key role in her team’s victory. The likes of Sophie Molineux, Georgia Wareham, and Shreyanka Patil are also key with Renuka Singh the seamer.

Speaking about their history against Gujarat Giants, they won one game and lost one last year. Both the previous two games last season were high-scoring contests. The Giants won the first game while the RCB side won the second game. Heading into this game after a win over UP Warriorz, Royal Challengers Bangalore might play the same side barring any injury concerns.
