Revealed: Who are the Impact Players nominated for DC vs MI match 29 of IPL 2025?

The list of Impact Players nominated for the 29th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 between the Delhi Capitals (DC) and the Mumbai Indians (MI) has been revealed.

The Axar Patel-led Delhi Capitals and the Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians are clashing with each other in the 29th IPL 2025 match on Sunday, April 13, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.

Table-toppers Delhi Capitals have arrived at their actual home as the only unbeaten team of the season so far, as they have won 4 out of 4 - two away from home and two at their adopted home in Vizag.

Things have looked pretty great for DC, as both the batting unit and the bowling unit have been firing on all cylinders. The form of KL Rahul has been the biggest positive for them as he has continued his red-hot form and has already played two match-winning knocks.

On the bowling side of things, Mitchell Starc has looked terrific with his express pace-bowling while the spin duties have been handled quite well by Kuldeep Yadav.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians have won just one out of five games in the competition so far. The opening duo of Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton have been unable to provide their team with good starts, which has been a major cause of concern.

Bowling hasn't offered Mumbai Indians much respite either. Although Jasprit Bumrah's return has been a big boost for them, the poor bowling by Deepak Chahar and Trent Boult has led to MI getting under pressure early on in the innings.

Their powerplay average of 51.83 is the second-worst in IPL 2025 and at death MI are leaking runs at 11.51 per over. Things are likely to only get tougher for them as the track on the offer in Delhi will be batting-friendly.

Talking about the IPL head-to-head record, Mumbai Indians have a 19-16 edge over Delhi Capitals, and at the venue, Delhi Capitals have won 7 of the 12 matches.

IPL 2025: Delhi Capitals win the toss and opt to bowl

Speaking at the toss, Axar Patel said that they wanted to chase because they were not aware of how exactly the pitch would play. He said:

"We'll bowl first. We're chasing well, and it's the first match over here this season so don't know how the pitch will play."

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya said that they have a lot of experience in the group and a good game is around the corner. He said:

"Conversations are about where we are making mistakes. There's no lack of experience in this group. We're not far from having a good game."
