The 61st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is seeing the battle between the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Monday, May 19.
Rishabh Pant's Lucknow Super Giants and Pat Cummins' Sunrisers Hyderabad have revealed the list of impact players nominated for the IPL 2025 match at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

This match holds great importance for the Lucknow Super Giants as they are still in the playoffs race and are fighting for the fourth and final spot with Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians.
They need to win their remaining three matches and then need other results to go in their favour to finish in the top four, and a defeat against the Sunrisers Hyderabad would mean curtains for them.
LSG's problems have increased as the season has progressed. Nicholas Pooran's form has taken a big hit, Mayank Yadav has broken down after playing a couple of games, Shardul Thakur has lost his magic, Ravi Bishnoi has failed, and David Miller hasn't played to his potential.
And the biggest issue for LSG continues to be the form of captain Rishabh Pant, who has looked miserable with the bat, and his poor performances have affected his captaincy as well.
Talking about the Sunrisers Hyderabad, they have already been eliminated from the playoffs race. They will try to find the best combination for the next year in the remainder of the games.
SRH haven't quite lived up to the promise of their season opener and have delivered back-to-back poor performances, which have resulted in them languishing in the bottom half of the points table.
From dangerous openers - Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma - to premier pacers - Mohammed Shami and Pat Cummins - all of them have struggled to perform.
If SRH manage to fire together as a unit against LSG, they would have a good chance to win and avoid the wooden spoon finish. However, it won't be easy for SRH to beat LSG as they have a poor 1-4 IPL head-to-head record against them.
IPL 2025: Sunrisers Hyderabad win the toss and opt to bowl
Speaking at the toss, Pat Cummins said that they were unaware of how the surface would act. He stated:
"We will have a bowl. You never know what to make of the wicket."
Meanwhile, the Lucknow Super Giants skipper Rishabh Pant said that they don't mind batting first. He said:
"We don't mind anything. The wicket looks good whether you bat first or bowl first.
