Revealed: Who are the Impact Players nominated for RR vs LSG match 36 of IPL 2025?

The Rajasthan Royals (RR) and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are clashing with each other in the 36th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Saturday, April 19.

The list of impact players nominated for the Rajasthan Royals vs Lucknow Super Giants match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur has been officially revealed.

Rajasthan Royals are having a tough campaign in IPL 2025 and they have won just two out of seven matches. Currently, they are at the No.8 spot on the points table with a Net Run Rate of -0.714.

Things haven't quite gone as per plans for Rajasthan Royals in the ongoing season and they have been struggling in all departments. Only Yashasvi Jaiswal has been performing in the batting department while the rest of the players have failed.

RR also suffered a colossal blow in their previous match against Delhi Capitals as Sanju Samson suffered an injury scare. He was forced to retire after hurting his side, and Rahul Dravid stated that Samson "experienced a bit of pain in the abdominal area".

On one hand, RR suffered an injury scare; on the other hand, LSG received a major boost with the return of express pacer Mayank Yadav to the side from an injury.

LSG, who started the season without Akash Deep, Mayank Yadav, and Avesh Khan, now have all of them in the camp. They have won four and lost three games in the competition so far and have a solid chance to make it to the playoffs as they surpassed expectations with great performances in the first few matches.

Talking about the head-to-head record, Rajasthan Royals have got a healthy edge of 4-1 over the Lucknow Super Giants, and the only win of LSG over RR came way back in 2023 in Jaipur.

IPL 2025: No dew so why not bat first - Rishabh Pant after winning the toss

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) won the toss and chose to bat first in the match. At the toss, Rishabh Pant stated that the dew doesn't come at the venue, hence, they made the decision to bat first. He stated:

"We're going to bat first, wicket is looking dry so we want to take advantage. No dew so why not bat first."

Meanwhile, Riyan Parag, who replaced injured Sanju Samson as RR skipper, said that they were also looking to bowl first. He said:

"We were looking to bowl, it is a little bit warm under lights, should be better than the last time."
