The list of impact players nominated for the 68th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Sunday, May 25, has officially been revealed.
Pat Cummins-led Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are taking on the Ajinkya Rahane-led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the last IPL 2025 match for both teams at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
The finalists of last year - KKR and SRH - had a forgettable run in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League despite the presence of key players from the successful IPL 2024 campaign.
SRH and KKR failed miserably in both batting and bowling departments in the Indian Premier League 2025, as a result, they were knocked out of the playoffs race early on in the competition.

The last time KKR were in action in the Indian Premier League was eighteen days ago. In 13 matches in the ongoing season, Kolkata Knight Riders have won just 5 and lost 6 games.
However, they would be high on confidence while facing the Sunrisers Hyderabad, as in recent years, they have absolutely dominated the Orange Army.
Overall, in the 29 Indian Premier League matches between the two teams, the Kolkata Knight Riders have won 20 games while the Sunrisers Hyderabad have won just nine matches. However, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, they have only clashed once, and SRH won that game.
Talking about the Sunrisers Hyderabad, they are at the eighth spot on the points table, with 11 points from 13 matches, winning five and losing seven.
Despite not having a good campaign, experts believe, SRH don't need to change much in their squad for the next year as they have got a solid line-up. They would be hoping to beat KKR to slightly better their record and finish their campaign on a high.
IPL 2025: Sunrisers Hyderabad win the toss and opt to bat
Speaking at the toss, the Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Pat Cummins said that they will bat first in the match because the pitch on offer is a good one. He said:
"Will bat first, looks like a good wicket."
Meanwhile, the Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Ajinkya Rahane said that they were anyway looking to bowl first. He stated:
"Was looking to bowl first either way."
