But before this AGM, a high-level closed-door discussion of the BCCI’s top leaders will be held in the coming days, as reported by India Today. During this closed-door discussion, they will debate, shortlist, and finalize the names of candidates for the upcoming board elections.

However, only top positions will see the change. The secretary, joint secretary, and treasurer are expected to continue in their roles. Currently, Devajit Saikia is serving as the BCCI Secretary, Prabhtej Singh Bhatia is the treasurer, and Rohan Gauns Desai is posted as the joint secretary.
It is being said that the Indian cricket board will have a new president and vice-president following the upcoming elections. Presently, the president’s position is open after the 70-year-old Roger Binny resigned from the position due to age restrictions on the board.
It is being said that the next BCCI president could be a former Indian cricketer or an experienced cricket administrator. The board has not made a final decision yet, and the final call will be taken after the meeting.
Rajeev Shukla in line for BCCI’s top job
Rajeev Shukla, who is currently the vice-president and acting as the interim president, is likely to continue as vice-president. He is also likely to be promoted as the BCCI president or even likely to become the IPL chairman once again.
The sources at the board revealed that there is a strong chance of Shukla continuing as the vice-president, but there is also a “60-40 chance” of him becoming president. There will also be a new IPL chairman, and the former board treasurer, Anirudh Choudhury, is leading the race.
Bengal’s Avishek Dalmiya, who is now part of the IPL Governing Council, is another strong contender to become the chairman. The Indian cricket board is expected to release the official notice for its Annual General Meeting in the next two to three days.
Once the high-level meeting takes place, it will not only decide the course of the upcoming elections but also decide how power and responsibilities are shared within the board going forward.

BCCI sets new base price for new sponsor
Meanwhile, the Indian Cricket Board has set new and higher base prices for companies aiming to put their brand on the Indian cricket team jersey. With a fresh three-year sponsorship cycle up for grabs, the board has made it clear that associating with Team India will now come at a bigger price tag.
According to Cricbuzz, the new reserve price has been fixed at ₹3.5 crore per match for bilateral series and ₹1.5 crore per match for multinational tournaments like those run by the ICC and ACC.
The hike shows the Indian board's growing confidence in the market value of Indian cricket, with jersey branding rights continuing to be one of the most high-profile and lucrative sponsorship slots in world sport.
