Rinku Singh Discriminated With? Deepak Hooda Kicked Out!! No Place For Shivam Dube!! India’s Playing 11 for Asian Games Finalized. Asian Games 2023 is set to take place from September 23 to October 8.
Indian cricket team will participate in the tournament for the first time. Cricket was part of the Asian Games 2023 in the 2010 and 2014 seasons too. However, India did not participate due to other international commitments.

Ruturaj Gaikwad (C)
Ruturaj Gaikwad is the skipper of Team India in the Asian Games 2023. He will be the opener for the side. The right-handed batsman gave a marvelous batting show in IPL 2023.
With 590 runs in 16 games with 4 fifties, he made a crucial contribution to champions Chennai Super Kings. Gaikwad has also played a few international games for India.
Yashasvi Jaiswal
Yashasvi Jaiswal will be the other opener for Team India in Asian Games 2023. The left-handed batsman recently made his rocking Test debut, smacking a stupendous century against West Indies.
In IPL 2023, Yashasvi Jaiswal jolted all IPL fans with his fabulous batting show. With 625 runs in 14 games, the left-hander batter finished as the 5th highest run-getter in the tournament.
Rahul Tripathi
Rahul Tripathi did not perform well in IPL 2023 smacking 273 runs in 13 games. However, the right-handed batsman showcased superb form in some international games at the start of this year.
The 32-year-old made his international debut this year. Featuring 5 T20I games against Sri Lanka and New Zealand, he scored 97 runs. In two games, Tripathi played good knocks of 44 and 35. The SRH batter also held a high strike rate of 144+ while batting.
Tilak Varma
Tilak Varma can be a middel-order batsman for the tram. Varma was vivacious in IPL 2023 with the bat, smashing 343 runs in 11 games at an average of 42.88.

Rinku Singh
Rinku Singh rocked in IPL 2023 with a shocking batting show in a game against Gujarat Titans, where he shattered 5 consecutive sixes off the last 5 balls to lead his team to victory.
Rinku has become an instant hit with such a rare scenario in IPL. At an average of 59+, the 24-year-old piled up 474 runs in the season with a strike rate of 149+. He will be a powerful finisher for the team in Asian Games 2023.

Jitesh Sharma (WK)
For the wicketkeeper, Team India might go ahead with Jitesh Sharma in the playing XI during Asian Games 2023. The right-handed batsman was a part of India’s squad at the start of this year.
However, he did not make his international debut. In IPL 2023, the 29-year-old slammed 309 runs in 14 games at a strike rate of 156+.
Washington Sundar
For the all-rounder, Washington Sundar will be a prominent member of the playing XI. Sundar has a lot of international experience. The bowling all-rounder has played 35 T20I games so far and accounts for 29 scalps at an average of 28.03. He has also smacked 107 runs with the bat in 14 innings.
Ravi Bishnoi
Ravi Bishnoi will be the spinner for India in the playing XI during Asian Games 2023. Playing 10 T20I games for India, the right-arm spinner has hunted 16 wickets at an average of 17.12.
Bishnoi was highly impressive in most of the games and has held a rocking record so far. The leg spinner will aim to come up with another wonderful performance for the team.
Arshdeep Singh
Arshdeep Singh should be one of the pacers. Since his international debut last year, the left-arm pacer has left a significant impact on the field with his pace attack.
In 26 T20I matches, the 24-year-old has grabbed 41 scalps at an average of 17.78. He also had a decent economy of 8.39. In IPL 2023 too, he finished as top run-getter for the team with as many as 17 scalps.

Avesh Khan
Avesh Khan will be another pacer for the team. The right-arm pacer has made his comeback to the Indian team in the ongoing IND vs WI series after recovering from an injury.
Like Arshdeep, Avesh Khan also made his international debut last year. In 15 T20I games, he has grabbed 13 wickets at an average of 32+.
Shivam Mavi
Shivam Mavi executed a stellar show in a T20I game against Sri Lanka earlier this year by picking a 4-wicket haul. After making his debut earlier this year, Mavi has hunted 7 wickets in 6 games at an average of 17.57.
He also leaked runs at a decent economy of 8.78. Mavi did not get opportunities in IPL 2023 as Gujarat Titans did not play him any game. However, after tasting success in international games this year, Mavi is expected to be a crucial member of Team India in the Asian Games 2023.
