Kolkata Knight Riders batter Rinku Singh is on fire tonight, as he has now made an impact on the field after batting his way through to the end for the Knight Riders.

Just when Lucknow Super Giants were looking to settle on the batting partnership between skipper Rishabh Pant and opener Aiden Markram, a magic moment from Rinku Singh has helped the three-time champions bounce back into the contest.

The Kolkata Knight Riders, on the contrary, struggled to score runs at the start of their innings, but Rinku Singh, who spent some time on the crease later, helped the Knights in the death, putting on a 60+ partnership for the eighth wicket with Sunil Narine.

Sunil Narine dismisses Rishabh Pant, hands KKR a chance to bounce back in the game

After the fall of Aiden Markram's wicket when Cameron Green struck in his second over, Sunil Narine returned to dismiss the Lucknow Super Giants skipper Rishabh Pant for the first time in the history of the IPL.

Pant dispatched him to fence off the first ball, and Narine replied with a tighter line and length, but the LSG skipper had no intentions of holding back. While he attempted a reverse sweep, the ball took a slight deflection off his gloves and was caught sharply by the wicket-keeper Tim Seifert.

The wicket-keeper forced the captain to go for the review, and as they challenged the decision from the field umpire, the TV umpire reversed the call and ruled Rishabh Pant out.
