Rishabh Pant Expected To Be Shifted To Delhi: His Health Is Being Monitored By The DDCA Director

Several reports stated that the 25-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman was in stable condition following his plastic surgery on December 30, 2022.

Rishabh Pant also underwent brain and MRI scans, and the results were normal. Another scan was scheduled on December 31, 2022.

As per the most recent developments, as reported by ANI, the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) may take some drastic measures to safeguard Pant’s safety.

In an interview with ANI, DDCA Director Shyam Sharma said: “A team from Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) is going to Max Hospital Dehradun to monitor his health, if required we’ll shift him to Delhi & chances are high that we’ll airlift him to Delhi for plastic surgery.”

Rishabh Pant is now being monitored at Max Hospital Dehradun. His buddies and mother also join him. The wicketkeeper-batsman was to be kept under surveillance for 48 hours and was being watched by both Ortho and Neuro teams on a daily basis.

He is currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on the hospital’s second floor. Pant was scheduled to be sent to Delhi for more scans, but the DDCA is now considering airlifting the youngster if necessary.

Rishabh Pant was severely injured in a car accident:

Rishabh Pant suffered critical injuries on December 30, 2022, in a terrible vehicle accident. Pant was traveling by car from Delhi to Dehradun in Uttarakhand. Pant is alleged to have fallen asleep just before he crashed his automobile into a barrier on NH 58 between Manglaur and Narsan in the Haridwar district.

The youngster was sent to Saksham Hospital for Multispecialty and Trauma Center following the unfortunate occurrence. After that, he was transferred to the Max Hospital in Dehradun, where he had plastic surgery for facial damage.

Pant was not included in India’s ODI and T20I squads for the series against Sri Lanka and was on his way to the NCA (National Cricket Academy) when the automobile accident occurred.
