Rohit Sharma confirms closing of his and Virat Kohli's international cricket chapter in Australia

Former Indian skipper Rohit Sharma returned to Australia and played the two most memorable knocks of his career on Australian soil. After winning a hundred at Sydney, Rohit clarified that this might be the end of his and Virat Kohli's international chapter on Australian soil.
India played their final game in the ODI series, and Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli would once again be kept out of action for nearly a month, with their comeback anticipated for the home ODI series against South Africa. Rohit would be carrying off his legacy from the Australia tour.

Rohit scored 121* runs in the Sydney ODI, as this marked his thirty-third century in One-day cricket and his 50th overall. He has scored nine hundreds against Australia in ODIs, equalling his tally with the former legend of Indian cricket, Sachin Tendulkar.
Rohit ends his stint on Australian soil with 2609 runs, the second-most for India against the nation, with a stunning average of 59.29 and ten half-centuries and 9 centuries to his name.
He is followed by Indian legend Virat Kohli, who has scored 2525 runs against the opposition and has an average of 53.72 with 8 hundreds in his career. Sachin Tendulkar tops the list with 3077 runs, while MS Dhoni follows Kohli with 1660 runs and 2 hundreds.
Virat and Rohit hold the record for the third-highest runs in ODI partnerships
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli boast the record for having put on record partnerships between the two, propelling India to historic wins. As Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar played in nearly 176 innings, they scored 8227 runs between them and averaged nearly 47.55 with 26 century partnerships between them.
They are followed by Sri Lankan middle-order batters. Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene have scored 5992 runs in partnership for over 150 innings. Averaging over 40, they have scored 15 hundred-run partnerships, with the highest partnership of 179.
Virat Kohli and Rohit combined now boast a record of the third-highest runs scored in partnerships, as the two legends have scored 5483 runs in 101* innings, averaging over 57.71. A total of 19 times they have breached the hundred-run mark.
