I don't understand all of it but it's always broadcast and translated for us," Rhodes told Rev Sports.

The former South African cricketer praised Rohit Sharma for his rapport with younger players, describing him as a big-brother-like figure. Rhodes highlighted that Rohit's captaincy has been outstanding, adding that he grew as a leader with the Mumbai Indians.
"From a captaincy point of view, he has been superb. I was with him at MI for a quite few seasons. He grew as a captain there and that's the best thing about him," Rhodes said.

Jonty Rhodes also highlighted how Rohit Sharma has adapted his white-ball game to remain effective. He added that opponents quickly figure out weaknesses. Rhodes shared his own experience of being dropped from Test cricket due to technical issues.
"Cricketers have to keep reinventing themselves. You are found out easily at the international level. I was dropped for two years from Test cricket because I had a technical issue. If you look at Rohit, so much cricket has been played that if you don't evolve, you are going to be stuck. People are going to figure you out," he added.
Rhodes is considered one of the best in cricket history. The former cricketer played for South Africa from 1992 to 2003, featuring in 52 Tests and 245 ODIs. Rhodes scored 2,532 runs in Test cricket and 5,935 runs in ODIs. He smashed three centuries in Test cricket and two in ODI matches.
