RR vs MI: Revealed - Reason Behind Jos Buttler's Gesture After Completing 50 vs MI

Jos Butter has been the leading run-scorer in Tata IPL. He has notched up 3 centuries in the tournament already. He is leading the charts for the orange cap.

He continued his good run with the bat against Mumbai Indians in the 2nd encounter between the franchises this season. Earlier in the season, Butter had hit a brilliant century against the same opponent. Although he did not look at his fluent best yet he managed to score at a strike rate of 128.85. He made 67 off 52 balls.

After reaching his fifty in the 16th over by hitting two back to back sixes against young Hrithik Shokeen, he gestured towards his T-shirt.

Jos Buttler did not start well at all. He struggled throughout his innings. It was only in the 16th over that he hit 4 consecutive sixes to Shokeen that his strike rate shot up otherwise it was turning out to be an innings filled with struggle.

The inaugural edition is not only known for the revolution of T20 cricket in India, but it is also remembered for the way legendary leg-spinner led a team of relativity inexperienced cricketers to a title win.

Jos Buttler therefore could be seen indicating towards his T-shirt after completing his fifty where they have printed SW23 to pay tribute to the legendary spinner.
