Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter opened up about how it’ll be for him to break great Sachin Tendulkar’s record. He said that if he achieves the feat it’ll be an emotional moment for him.

Virat Kohli is about to break one of the biggest records of Sachin Tendulkar as he is just a few tons away from surpassing the batting great in terms of most centuries in the ODI format.

Virat Kohli said that if he breaks Sachin Tendulkar’s record it’ll be a very emotional moment for him. Speaking in an episode of PUMA’s Let There Be Sports documentary series, he said:

“It will be a very emotional moment for me.”

RR vs RCB: “Don’t make them [students] just play sports,” says Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli further went on to highlight the importance of sports in one’s life. He said that young students should be taught about sports. He elaborated:

“Sports teaches you some values of life, discipline and planning. It opens up your side, making you a productive person. No matter which profession you are in, the value of playing sport is immense. Don’t make them [students] just play sports, teach them. It is important to teach them small details of what it means to play a sport.”

Virat Kohli is currently playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2023. He has been one of the top-getters in the ongoing edition of the league. The right-hander has played some blistering knocks in the league.
