Sachin Tendulkar Hospitalized Days After Testing Positive For COVID-19

Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has been hospitalized days after testing positive for COVID-19. It is notable that Sachin Tendulkar had contracted the coronavirus after returning home from the Road Safety World Series matches that took place in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Not only Tendulkar but several other Indian cricketers who were representing the India Legends team tested positive for COVID-19 after returning home.
As a precautionary measure, the Sri Lanka legends team members were quarantined after returning from the Road Safety World Series as a host of Indian players had contracted the virus. Sachin Tendulkar was the first among the Indian cricketers to test positive for COVID-19 as he broke the news last week and now he has been hospitalized.

On Friday, Sachin took to Twitter and wrote, “Thank you for your wishes and prayers. As a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back home in a few days. Take care and stay safe everyone. Wishing all Indians & my teammates on the 10th anniversary of our World Cup win”
It is worth noting that on 02nd April every year, team India celebrates its second world cup win. They won the ICC 2011 Cricket World Cup after beating Sri Lanka in the final of the tournament on April 02, 2011. Yuvraj Singh was the Man of the Tournament for India as he made an all-round contribution with the bat and ball.

A Host Of Cricketers From India Legends Tested Positive For COVID-19
The India Legends team was there in Raipur, Chhatisgarh to compete in the Road Safety World Series. All the games of the tournament were played with fans inside the stadium. Although the players were in bio-bubbles, they were found COVID-19 positive after returning home from the tournament.
After Sachin’s announcement last week, Yusuf Pathan also informed that he had tested positive for COVID-19. After Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan and S Badrinath had also informed that they too have tested positive for Coronavirus.
