Sai Sudharsan takes sensational catch to dismiss Venkatesh Iyer in GT vs RCB IPL 2026 clash
The Gujarat Titans have been having a roller-coaster season, as they started their winning streak in this season with a dramatic one-run victory against the Delhi Capitals. Despite having lost matches even after that, the Titans did not fail to bounce back on most of the successive occasions.
Coming into their home ground at the Narendra Modi Stadium, the Titans provided the most clinical effort on the field as they completed some of the most stunning catches in this edition of the competition, with probably this being the first game where a single chance has not gone down.
Sai Sudharsan's diving catch is the perfect 'cherry on top' in the iconic fielding effort from the Gujarat Titans
Sai Sudharsan completed a stunning catch diving forward as he dismissed the impact player Venkatesh Iyer, who ultimately failed to deliver an actual impact, the role he was brought onto the field for.
He continued to keep the reputation for the Titans fielders that was started with Rashid Khan holding onto the two catches in the powerplay and then Jason Holder pulling off the most impactful effort on the field, almost being involved in every wicket between the fall of the third and eighth wicket in the game.
Venkatesh Iyer was introduced as an impact player for the second time this season; however, he failed to deliver on this occasion and was ultimately dismissed on the first ball of Arshad Khan's final over, handing the third wicket of the game to the left-handed pacer.
UNSTOPPABLE IN THE FIELD 🔥
