Sarfaraz Khan, the dashing batter is on a roll at the moment. The right-handed batter was adjudged as the player of the tournament for Ranji Trophy 2022 where he amassed 982 runs in 6 matches at an average of 122.75. The batter looked in ominous touch.
It was quite surprising to see that he didn’t make it to Bangladesh Tests despite scoring immensely. Perhaps, the selection panel wants him to carry on his form for a couple of seasons before introducing him to the International Arena.

Sarfaraz Khan Taken to Hospital
Sarfaraz Khan, the dashing batter of the Mumbai Cricket Team was admitted to hospital on Sunday at Ranchi. The batter was set to play against Services but missed the game. “It is a minor but painful ailment of kidney stone, something he has been suffering from for quite some time. It gave him a lot of pain because of which he had to be taken to the hospital. He is fine now.” said his father Naushad Khan

“Sarfaraz is expected to be fit. The one-night stay in the hospital was a precautionary exercise and we are confident about his participation in Thursday’s game,” a team official said.
Sarfaraz Khan an Exciting Prospect
The right-handed batter has age on his side as he is 25 years old. It won’t be wrong to say that he has all the traits in him to be in the Indian Cricket Team. The batter has got a wide range of shots and doesn’t fear to take down any bowler which is his peculiarity. Sarfaraz would be aiming to make the most of his purple patch.

Some Cricket experts raised their voices over Sarfaraz’s non-selection as he could have gotten good match practice ahead of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023. We all know that there is some uncertainty over Ajinkya Rahane’s place in the team as his form is nowhere great at the moment. It would be interesting to see whether Sarfaraz Khan changes his approach in the upcoming matches of Vijay Hazare Trophy.
