PAK vs ENG: "Inshah Allah, India Mein World Cup Uthayenge"- Shoaib Akhtar On Pakistan

Pakistan Cricket Team suffered a heart-wrenching defeat against England in the final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. The Men in Green were not able to post a formidable total on board and lacked intent against a powerful England Cricket Team.

England on the other hand would be pumped up with this triumph as now they have joined West Indies in the elite list of T20 Winners. Not many experts gave them a chance to win the tournament as their batting lineup has been dependent on Buttler and Hales. The team showed great spirit as chasing 138 runs was not easy on a bowling-friendly pitch.

Shoaib Akhtar On Pakistan

Shoaib Akhtar made some interesting comments on Pakistan’s defeat in the Final against England. “Pakistan lost the world cup but you guys did a great job. You were standing nowhere but ultimately; you played the finals. Well done Pakistan’s bowling attack. You guys did an exceptional job throughout the tournament. Luck was indeed a factor but they played well and made it to the finals.” said Shoaib Akhtar.

“I’m standing with you and nothing to worry about. You guys really played well. It’s hurting, I’m disappointed, but it’s fine. We gonna stand by you as a nation. Inshah Allah, India mein World Cup uthayenge (If almighty wills it, we shall lift the World Cup in India),”  he added.

Tough Loss for Pakistan

The Men in Green from nowhere had made it to the Semi-Finals after losing back-to-back matches in the group stage.  Skipper Babar Azam was quite great in leadership as he didn’t panic. The skipper would be utterly disappointed with his own performance as he never looked in control of the match.

Pakistan may have to tweak their combination as once again the team failed after the departure of openers The team also has to find a solution as they don’t have proper finishers present. It would be interesting to see how Pakistan Cricket Team reacts to this loss as they almost pulled off a heist.
