Seeing Their Current Form, It Is Very Easy For India To Reach WTC Final - Rajkumar Sharma

Former Delhi cricketer Rajkumar Sharma reckoned that the Indian team has done most of the hard work and should be able to reach the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) at Lord’s next year.
India currently sits in fourth place in the WTC points table, behind Australia, Pakistan, and South Africa. They have six home games left, 2 against Bangladesh and 4 against the Aussies. Apart from that, there is also a solitary game in England where they lead the Test series 2-1.
“India has a very good chance. Seeing their current form, I feel it is very easy for India to reach the final. The England Test could be a tough exam but other than that, I feel India can win the other six Tests easily.”

“Australia will also come to India and play and it will not be easy for Australia. India has a very good chance of beating them and Bangladesh,” Rajkumar said in a discussion on India News.
“India will have to play good cricket if we want to beat them 4-0” – Rajkumar Sharma
The Australian team will be visiting next year to play the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. It consists of four Tests and if India is to clean sweep it, it will have to be at its peak.
“Rohit’s thinking is absolutely correct, that you see one game at a time and don’t think about winning all seven matches, you plan for the one-one match and prepare for that and keep on winning that and moving forward.”
“Generally, if you see a distant goal, you waver in between and this is a good chance for India that Australia is playing in India only. It will not be that easy to whitewash them because Australia is an excellent team and India will have to play good cricket if we want to beat them 4-0,” Rajkumar added.
