Star Indian speedster Shardul Thakur has inaugurated the new chapter of his life by getting engaged to his girlfriend Mittali Parulkar in Mumbai on Monday, November 29.
Shardul Thakur has become a regular member of the Indian team, especially in the overseas Test games as India fields four pacers in the overseas games and Shardul Thakur provides a lot of flexibility as he got amazing batting skills as well.
Meanwhile, earlier today it was reported by TOI that Shardul Thakur will be getting engaged at Mumbai Cricket Association’s facility in BKC with 75-odd guests. Also, it has been reported that Thakur is likely to get married to Mittali Parulkar after the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 which will be held in Australia.
“There is a small engagement function at the Mumbai Cricket Association’s facility in BKC on Monday, for which he has invited 75-odd guests-mostly close friends and family members. The wedding is likely to take place after the T20 World Cup in Australia next year,” a source close to the player told TOI.
Shardul Thakur Rested From The Ongoing Test Series vs New Zealand
The 30-year-old was having a very good run in cricket and he was even added to India’s main 15-member ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 squad after his sensational performance for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.
Meanwhile, Shardul Thakur has been rested from the New Zealand tour of India 2021, he was not picked in India’s squad for the 3-match T20I series against New Zealand and he is also not a part of the ongoing two-match Test series.
Also, some reports have stated that Shardul will play the 3rd unofficial Test match against South ‘A’ which will begin from December 6 and he will leave early for South Africa. The main series will begin from December 17 and India will play 3 Tests, 3 ODIs and 4 T20Is against South Africa.
