Nathan Ellis rattles Shivam Dube's stumps

India made another change to their batting order, as Shivam Dube was now promoted to the top of the batting order at No. 3. The all-rounder was sent in to increase the scoring rate as well as capitalize when the spinner Adam Zampa came into the attack. He took the field after Abhishek Sharma was dismissed by Adam Zampa.

After having hit a huge six off Adam Zampa in just the previous over of the innings, Dube was left baffled and lost his leg stump in front of Nathan Ellis. Ellis ran in with a slower off-cutter around the bodyline, and Dube looked to clip it away but missed it completely, and it went to hit the top of his leg stump.

Nathan Ellis returns to clean up Indian vice-captain Shubman Gill

Nathan Ellis, the most successful bowler in the Australian bowling deck, has taken command of their pace bowling ever since Josh Hazlewood was released from the Australian squad. Ellis finished the fourth T20 with a spell of 3/21 in his four overs and picked the crucial wickets, providing breakthroughs in crucial junctures of the game.

When he was called in from a new end in the 15th over of the game, he dismissed the set batter Shubman Gill, who missed out on a slow-paced half-century. Very different from the Shivam Dube wicket, as Ellis lands it on the good length with a back-of-hand release.

Gill advances, trying to play across the line of the ball, and it sneaks under his bat to crash into the off-stump. He later came back in his final over of the spell to dismiss Washington Sundar, who was looking to score some quick runs during the death overs.

Fantastic captaincy from Mitchell Marsh at Carrara

Australian skipper Mitchell Marsh is one of the most successful captains in the history of T20I cricket. He shares an 84% win record in T20Is in 2025 alongside the Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav.

Marsh has shown some inspiring captaincy in the T20I series. He has shown a great aggressive mindset in bringing his best bowlers at crucial junctures to pick up wickets at regular intervals. He has rotated his bowlers to the best and has not even shied away from using a spinner in the death overs.

Using Nathan Ellis wonderfully was the highlight of Marsh's stunning captaincy in the T20 series, especially after Josh Hazlewood's departure.
