The International Cricket Council (ICC) Women’s rankings have changed across formats. India Women’s National Cricket Team spinner N.Shree Charani has moved to 817 rating points in the ICC Women's T20I Bowling Rankings. Shree Charani surpassed the previous high score of 806 set by Australia's Megan Schutt in November 2018. This is a remarkable achievement for the spinner.
Shree Charani was part of the Women in Blue team that won gold in the Asian Games 2026, as she was excellent throughout the tournament, picking up 8 wickets in just three games for Harmanpreet Kaur’s side, with a two-wicket haul in the final match against Sri Lanka. She was brilliant in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.
Shree Charani gets to a career best in T20Is
Shree Charani got 12 wickets at the Asia Cup, including 4/20 in the final against Sri Lanka, as India won by 72 runs to win their eighth Asia Cup trophy. At the Asian Games in Japan, Shree Charani took career-best figures of 4/10 against hosts Japan, sending India to the semi-finals, then picked up 2/13 in the final.
Apart from her, all-rounder Deepti Sharma also saw a rise in her rankings as she picked 3/6 in the final of the Asian Games against Sri Lanka, which saw her points rise to 754, and she moved to the second position in the T20I Bowling Rankings, with England's Sophie Ecclestone third on 723 points.
Smriti Mandhana enters top five in T20I rankings
Smriti Mandhana, who had a stellar Asia Cup and then Asian Games, has been back in the top five T20I batting rankings. She played a knock of 79 runs in the final against Sri Lanka in the Asian Games and rose one place to fifth position with 754 points, right behind her opening partner Shafali Verma, who has 759 points.
In the same game, Mandhana became the first woman cricketer to complete 11,000 international runs. In the semi-final, she scored 37 runs, surpassing New Zealand's Suzie Bates to become the leading run-scorer in women's T20I cricket and becoming the first Indian woman to hit 100 T20I sixes.
Hayley Matthews retains top spot in T20I all-rounder; moves to fourth position in ODIs
Hayley Matthews produced a stellar innings in the first ODI against Zimbabwe in Harare, scoring 182 off 156 deliveries and smashing 25 fours and two sixes. She became the first woman cricketer to score two 150+ scores in WODIs in a year.
After her amazing innings, she jumped to three spots to fourth position with 711 points. Australia's Ash Gardner continues to lead the ODI All-Rounder Rankings with 497 points, while Hayley Matthews leads the T20I list with 502 points.
Her teammate Realeanna Grimmond (270 points) jumped 34 spots to joint 102nd. Nyasha Gwanzura, who was the key to Zimbabwe’s win in the second ODI, moved 52 places to sit at 156 in the ICC ODI Women's Bowling Rankings.
Modester Mupachikwa made a big move in the ICC Women's ODI Batting Rankings, rising 16 places to a career-best of 40 with 492 points following scores of 86 and 38 in two matches in the ongoing series against the Windies.
