Shubman Gill to get married after Australia tour! Sachin Tendulkar's friend announces

Harbhajan Singh, in a sudden media interview, reveals that Shubman Gill is getting married. In a lighthearted remark, the former spinner has claimed that Gill should finish off with his captaincy duties for now; after that, he will get him married.
The Indian star Shubman Gill is currently one of the most dynamic names in Indian cricket. He has not only dominated as a batting star across formats, but his personal life has also often been brought in front of the wider world through social media.
However, Shubman has resorted to non-cooperation on this topic, as he likes to keep his personal life unrevealed; however, former spinner Harbhajan Singh has issued a massive statement on the cricketer.
Harbhajan Singh's light-toned remark on Shubman Gill getting married
Recently, in a light-toned exchange between the reporters and Harbhajan Singh, the former Indian spinner. As the former spinner mentioned, Shubman Gill, he said that the Indian skipper should be married now.
He further went on to mention, "For now, let Shubman Gill finish off with his role as the captain. Next, we will get him married."
Gill is just 25 years old, and social media has often linked him with former legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar's daughter Sara Tendulkar. However, despite social media speculations, neither of the two individuals has ever accepted any such claims.
Shubman Gill excels as India's Test skipper under home conditions
Gill took over as one of India's youngest Test skippers in the history of the red-ball format. He took over as the captain of the Indian side during the England tour, as Rohit Sharma stepped down as the skipper of the Baggy Blue.
The Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy hosted 5 matches in the longest format of the game, while Gill led by example. The batter himself scored 754 runs in the series with 4 hundreds in the series. Before the start of the series, Gill had no three-figure score in SENA countries.
His iconic 269-run innings at Edgbaston remains the most heroic innings by an Indian batter on English soil, while India managed to draw the series with two dominating wins at Birmingham and at The Oval.
Shubman to debut as ODI captain in Australia
After his immense success as the skipper of the Indian Test side, Gill has been appointed as the new Indian ODI captain. Rohit Sharma, despite his immense success in white-ball tournaments, has been snubbed from the Australia series.
However, unlike the Test side, where Shubman is not backed by many of his legendary players, as they have all announced their retirements, the One-dayers will include the likes of former greats like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who will back Shubman Gill in his debut white-ball series on Australian soil.
The view has been cited by the Indian management as well as the BCCI with regard to preparations ahead of the 2027 ICC World Cup, which will be hosted by South Africa.
