This has been another disappointing season for the Punjab Kings. Apart from a few individual performances, they have not had team performances as a whole. Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma have been their two biggest positives. Losing Shikhar Dhawan due to injury was a massive blow for the Kings. 

Sam Curran who led the Kings for a few games will be back for national duty ahead of the World Cup. Thus there are chances of Dhawan likely to return to top captaincy after almost a month's break.

The Hyderabad track has been a high-scoring venue so far. SRH posted 277 in the very first match of the season at this venue against MI. They have posted above 200-plus total in plenty this season. In the last match, they chased 166 in less than overs against LSG and are poised for another big-score batting first. 

Form and Fitness 

The form is a concern for the Punjab Kings batters. With the ball, Arshdeep Singh and Harshal Patel are in form and the spin twins Rahul Chahar and Harpreet Brar are in form as well. 

For SRH, their openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head holds the key. The duo has been in splendid form with the bat and is one of the big reasons for SRH's success this season. Their bowlers have backed up their batters as well.
