Sri Lanka and Bangladesh go head to head in match 15 of the T20 World Cup in Dallas on June 8 from 6 am ISt. The match will be played at the Grand Prairie Stadium which hosted the high-scoring campaign opener between USA and Canada.

Sri Lanka led by Wanindu Hasaranga lost their first game against South Africa. The side was bowled out for just 77 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. Since that loss, a lot has already been said about how underprepared the wicket was for the match.

The ground staff and the curators have been almost given a warning to prepare better wickets so that fans can watch good games of cricket in the World Cup.

Bangladesh, led by Najmul Hossain Shanto, will be playing their very first group stage game. It is not an easy game for them as they will be taking on Sri Lanka. Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are placed alongside, Nepal, Netherlands, and South Africa in the group. This group is also being referred to as the Group of Death.

The battle between the veteran all-rounders Shakib Al Hasan and Angelo Mathews is the subplot of this contest. Shakib cunningly managed a "TimedOut" dismissal of Mathews in last year's World Cup match. Sri Lanka avenged that by doing the "Timed Out" celebrations after beating Bangladesh in a T20I series earlier this year.

This match has all the makings of a great contest if the track in Dallas plays out the way it did in the very first game of the season. USA chased down Canada's Target of 195 inside 18 overs. The venues in the US are still very much an unknown commodity for the players and they are wondering what to expect from the tracks.
