Suresh Raina To Play For Deccan Gladiators In Abu Dhabi T10 League, Claim Reports

Suresh Raina, a former all-rounder for India, has declared his retirement from all cricket competitions, including the IPL, making him eligible for international T20 leagues. Since Raina announced his retirement from competitive cricket, rumours regarding his involvement in various tournaments throughout the world have been rampant.
The 35-year-old is presently playing for the Sachin Tendulkar-led India Legends team in the second season of the Legends League Cricket. In the meanwhile, recent sources suggest that Raina may play in the Abu Dhabi T10 League.
Pictures circulating on social media suggest that Suresh Raina will represent the Deccan Gladiators in the Abu Dhabi T10 League in the United Arab Emirates.
Suresh Raina Wish To Play Cricket For Around Two To Three Years More
Although there has been no official confirmation, a Dainik Jagran journalist likewise made the same assertion on social media.

Notable athletes who formerly competed in the Abu Dhabi T10 League include Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, S. Badrinath, Reetinder Singh Sodhi, Munaf Patel, Yusuf Pathan, and Praveen Kumar.
After retiring from international competition, Raina reportedly asked the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association and the Board of Control for Cricket in India for a No Objection Certificate.
“I wish to play cricket for around two to three years more. A lot of good players are there in the Uttar Pradesh domestic team now and doing really well. I have obtained NOC from UPCA as well,” Raina was quoted in Dainik Jagran’s report.
Notably, a cricket player who is actively competing in India must resign in order to play in international leagues and seek such opportunities. Known as “Mr. IPL,” Raina struggled to find any buyers at the player auction for the 2022 IPL since the CSK supporter had to join the experts for commentary.
18 Tests, 226 ODIs, and 78 T20 internationals were all played by Raina. Additionally, he was a member of the 2011 World Cup championship squad.
