India National Cricket Team skipper Suryakumar Yadav might be going through a lean patch, but he has made sure that he remains in high spirits around his teammates and keeps the environment light.
A hilarious version of Suryakumar Yadav was seen after the fourth T20I between the India National Cricket Team and the Australia National Cricket Team, as he was seen teasing Abhishek Sharma.
Suryakumar Yadav teased Abhishek Sharma for a slow knock
The swashbuckling opener Abhishek Sharma is currently the No.1 ranked batsman in the ICC Men's T20I Batting Rankings, and he has already achieved the highest-ever rating points in history.
He reached this historic landmark on the back of his sensational performances for the India National Cricket Team in the last one year. While opening the innings for India, he has played ultra-aggressive cricket and has maintained consistency as well.
Abhishek Sharma plays an attacking brand of cricket from ball one and continues playing the same way during his stay in the middle. His career strike of 189.82 speaks volumes about the talent possessed by the batter.
However, in the fourth T20I against Australia in Carrara, Abhishek was unable to maintain a high strike rate. He finished his innings with a strike rate of 133.33 as he scored 28 runs off 21 balls, with three fours and one six.
The left-handed opener was dismissed by Adam Zampa on the fourth ball of the 7th over while trying to smash a six over long on.
This was one of the slowest innings played by Abhishek in T20I cricket, and Suryakumar made sure to take a playful dig at the batter over his slow knock.
After the match, as Indian players were going into the team bus, Suryakumar Yadav hilariously dragged Abhishek Sharma, and while looking into the journalist Vimal Kumar's camera, he said: "Kabhi dekha hai sher ko ghaas khaate hue? (Have you ever seen a lion eating grass?)," referring to his 133.33 strike rate in Queensland.
"Aaj sher ghaas khaa rha thaa dheere dheere karke, (Today, the lion was eating grass — slowly, bit by bit)," he added.

I agree with Suryakumar Yadav’s assessment when he said I am out of runs, not out of form - Irfan Pathan
In a video shared on his official YouTube channel, Irfan Pathan talked about Suryakumar Yadav's lean patch and said that the India skipper is not out of form. He said:
"I agree with Suryakumar Yadav’s assessment when he said I am out of runs, not out of form. The way he was batting – hit two sixes. He likes to bat slightly at the top but came in later. The moment he came, he started playing the big shots.
"He made 20 off 10 balls with a strike rate of almost 200 which means you are comfortable even under pressure. He is not out of form, just out of big runs. We expect Surya to score big runs every time but his batting position is not fixed and team is experimenting with the order before the World Cup. It is understandable. But I accept Surya is not out of form."
